I like Lancasters. Because the only noise better than a Rolls-Royce Merlin is four Rolls-Royce Merlins.

They were wonderfully noisy. I was in London during the 50 year VE & VJ anniversaries, they had tons of flyovers right over the city. Was fantastic.

One of these days I'll get to the Brooklands museum and take a gander at their Wimpy - just because Barnes Wallace was awesome. Do they have a Lanc there as well?

The Canadian one is in England for a month in august for the BB anniversary. The 2 one still flying on tour together for the last time.
